| I, John Rhodes have been writing poetry since around 1997. I published, “Spirits of Bondage and Inherent Transcendence”, my first mystic poetry book a few years later. I started poetry podcasting in San Francisco around late 2005. Shortly my first podcast novel came out entitled “Little Bird Told Me”. I have been video podcasting since late 2007. I soon got up enough courage to run a Public access TV show here in San Francisco which I have been running since late 2007. My podcast novel “Little Bird Told Me” is available from audible.com in its paid audio version. I just published as of March 2009 a new mystic poetry book entitled, “Mystic Babylon Revisited”. Please consider buying my books. It would be nice if people cared enough to buy rather than listen or watch for free. My poetry and novel writing has a mystic base that comes from writers like Kahlil Gibran, Alan Watts, and other mystic writers. If you live in the Bay Area and would like to know when my open mic poetry special shows go to http://bavc.org . The listings update every two days or so. |
